The panoramic coffret with 24 miniatures won over the judges with its "audacity and the quality of its realization".

Created and developed by Atelier Patrice Begnier, on opening, the coffret reveals the Eiffel Tower in the midst of a typically Parisian setting. Each of the 24 surrounding buildings contains a miniature fragrance or beauty product.

Cosfibel encountered a range of technical challenges for this project, with its pop-up décor that folds, necessitating extreme precision, and followed an eco-design approach.

The coffret is based on a rigid cardboard base and solid paper hinges that are strong enough to be opened and closed multiple times without altering the décor. The shapes are made from cardboard, created and attached by hand. They are protected with a varnish to avoid lamination. For its part, the Eiffel Tower is coated in holographic polyester that makes it sparkle. The final product is protected by a cardboard outer sheath.

In line with the brand’s sustainable positioning, Cosfibel combined FSC® -C100313 materials with European sourcing (for the holographic décor, ribbon, peal-off sticker with product details on the back of the sheath), which the company says makes the advent calendar fully recyclable.
