London fragrance house Penhaligon’s released a collection of coffrets channelling its English heritage. Cosfibel was in charge of developing this model with a cutout décor for Quercus Eau de Cologne.

Launched globally in the runup to the holiday season, this limited edition was based on a simple cardboard structure with a base and lid, Cosfibel played with a subtle cutout décor litho-laminated onto the sides of the box, the coffret imitating the shape of a period van. The printed motifs are highlighted using elegant hot stamping and protected with a mat coating.

In tandem with the choice of a cardboard coffret, the internal chock is made from transparent RPET shaped to fit the bottle. This is coated with printed paper in the same shade as the outer box. This development involved meticulous attention to detail, from the hand gluing of the different parts to the protection of the structure during the various production stages, from design to logistics.
